What do you do in your home country and what do you hope to do upon completion of your Fellowship? In particular, with the integration of your experiences with Drexel University?

I work as an assistant for people with visual disabilities in the national organization of the blind of Equatorial Guinea and also I work regularly with other organizations that work for the social integration of people with disabilities. I am also the founder of the social initiative I HAVE A DREAM . After my time at Drexel University, I want to carry out activities not only with the national organization for the blind of Equatorial Guinea, but also through I HAVE A DREAM. Being part of this university will undoubtedly change many things in my work.

What is your favorite thing about your home country? What are you most excited about learning about Philadelphia?

My country, and especially HISLA DE BIOKO, where I am from, is a land that could undoubtedly move anyone who visits it. Its green forests, rivers, and waterfalls, such as the UREKA waterfall, as well as the species of turtles that can be seen often, without a doubt make my land a place that I can recommend.

One of the things that excites me most about Philadelphia is knowing that it is one of the cities that have marked the history of the United States of America, especially in the sector of civil society, at the service of the community. I'm certainly happy to be a part of this city and of Drexel.

Do you have any hobbies or an interesting fact you wish to share about yourself?

One of the things that I am most passionate about is music. I started singing in 2010, and I won several musical competitions in my country, and I am one of the best singers in my city. In the month of August 2020 my last song HELELE came out, which means BE CAREFUL this song, it was number 1 in the list of 20 best songs of the best radio in my country for 7 months, and today it is still on that list as number 3. I play a little guitar and drums.

If I were to come to your home country, what is the first thing I should eat?

If you came to my country I would recommend eating snails, and the spicy sauce PEPE SUP.
